Father and son are very much hands-on, be it when brewing, maturing and storing the beer within the old walls of the beer cellar or when home-butchering the meat for their excellent home-made specialities. Not surprisingly, the Schlachtschüssel (a traditional butcher’s platter) ranks among the obligatory events in the gourmet calendar. Located just 500 metres away, the beer garden is quite an attraction in the summer months.
