Since 2012, grapevines have been growing again on the slopes of the monastery garden on Michaelsberg Bamberg. At the lower edge of the vineyard is the monastery's former cattle shed. The building underwent extensive renovation in 2011 and was reopened in 2014. Since then, it has served as an event venue under the name ‘Winzergebäude’ (winegrower's building). It is also available for private celebrations.
