From the heart of Franconia, 10 km west of Bamberg, comes Weiherer beer from the Kundmüller Brewery and Inn – a family business that has stood for excellent beer enjoyment for over 150 years. The Kundmüller Brewery is considered one of the most awarded breweries. 33 medals at the European Beer Star, over 70 medals at the World Beer Award, "Best Stout & Porter in the World," "Best Pilsner in the World," and "Brewery of the Year 2025" attest to the quality of Weiherer beers.
Sustainability also plays a major role, which was more than underscored by winning the Future Award at the European Beer Star 2022. Furthermore, in 2025, the brewery received the Chamber of Skilled Crafts' Future Award, the Bamberg City and District Climate Protection Award, and the Bavarian Export Award.
