Various themes from the history of the Silk Road between 900 and 1400 are presented using contemporary art. A highlight is the ballroom of the historic building in which the exhibition is housed: here, visitors can enjoy a glimpse into court life around 1,000 years ago. The exhibition was developed both didactically and conceptually over a period of two years.
