International Artists' House Villa Concordia

Open only for events, during exhibitions also on weekends 11 am - 4 pm

Just three years after completing Böttinger House, Ignaz Tobias Böttinger commissioned architect Johann Dientzenhofer to construct the baroque water palace Concordia. Today, the building accommodates the International Artists' House Villa Concordia. The most impressive view of the building can be gained from the opposite side of the river, at Mühlwörth.

Already three years after finishing the Böttingerhaus, Ignaz Böttinger had the baroque Moated Castle Concordia built between 1716-1722 by the architect Johann Dientzenhofer. The building hosts the International House of Artists Villa Concordia nowadays. You will have the nicest view from the opposite riverbank, the Mühlwörth.
