Nativity scene in St. Elisabeth's church

Nativity Scenes during the Christmas season and throughout the year, next to the late Gothic high altar, eight colored stained-glass windows by Markus Lüpertz as well as the artist's bronze figure "Apoll" on the side of St. Elisabeth.

At the foot of Cathedral Hill, St. Elisabeth's Church displays a nativity scene created around 1920.

In addition, eight stained-glass windows by Markus Lüpertz were managed through donations in the Church of St. Elisabeth. They show scenes from the life of Saint Elizabeth of Thuringia, to whom the former hospital church was dedicated on August 24, 1354.
