Town hall Gerach municipality

The municipality of Gerach is part of the Haßberge Nature Park, boasting many hiking trails with a length of approx. 55 km. Within the village and at particularly beautiful vantage points, 35 benches and oak wood sets are set up for your enjoyment. A nature trail with a length of 3,5 km was adapted to today’s requirements and invites you to Nordic walking, cycling and hiking.

In the course of the territorial reform, Gerach was affiliated to the municipality of Baunach in the late Seventies. Only a year later, the modern Laimbachtalhalle was inaugurated. It offers a restaurant with Franconian cuisine, a hall for about 400 people for all kinds of festivities and a two-lane bowling alley with a bowling snuggery. Almost all cultural, sporting and social events of the municipality with its nearly 1,000 inhabitants and numerous associations are held there.
