Christmas market in Baunach
During Advent, it is worth visiting and strolling through the traditional Christmas market in the historic old town of Baunach, with its over 1,200-year history
On Saturday evening, a variety of stalls around the historic market square create a pre-Christmas atmosphere. Regional mulled wine from a winery in Lower Franconia, fair trade cocoa, liqueur with fair coffee additives, regional bratwursts, fair trade organic coffee and a stall from the world shop as well as numerous artisans are sure to attract many visitors again.
For several years there has also been a children's carousel for all younger visitors. The “Muchharmonie” of the Baunach town band ensures a festive atmosphere.
The fire pots and fairy lights will be lit again on Sunday. Not only around the market square do sales stalls create an atmospheric atmosphere against a historical backdrop - artisans also present Christmas and many other festive decoration and gift ideas along Überkumstrasse to the Lechner Bräu community center.
While strolling, enjoy bratwursts, waffles, mulled wine and much more from one of the traditional stalls. With this large selection, everyone is sure to find what they are looking for!
The city library offers a large book flea market to browse through. The Sendelbachtal musicians and the Baunach town band will provide atmospheric music on this day.
