“Three playgrounds and a skittle run”

There is no danger of getting bored here. The basic ingredients for the typically Franconian menu are almost entirely home-grown. The sausage and some dishes such as the sour lung can also be purchased in tins. If you’re lucky, you might even bump into the regulars known as “Die Gläubigen” (“The Faithful”): six young men who are always as cool as cucumbers.
