When the locals of Hirschaid have a little time on their hands and want to go on a family outing, they go to the Häschaadä Keller. The home-made Presssack (Franconian sausage) is well worth trying. Every day, the cellar serves home-made light meals and hot dishes, with the home-made Sülze (jellied loaf), Göttinger (sausage) and home-made Gerupfter (tasty cheese concoction) particularly worthy of mention.
