Burgwindheim
Due to the market privilege, that was already granted as early as 1363, Burgwindheim was an important trading post in the Steigerwald forest area. The baroque Palace, the courthouse, the former post office which belonged to the family Thurn and Taxis and a lot of impressive houses still shape the almost unchanged magnificent view of Burgwindheim. Nice restaurants and many fairs invite you to stay and enjoy a drink.
