It's a walk through the forest at eye level with the treetops. You'll hear the rustling of the leaves right beside you, and with a bit of luck, you might spot animals high up in the branches. The approximately 1,150-meter-long treetop path in the Steigerwald forest leads you along gently ascending paths through the deciduous woodlands of the Ebrach Forest – step by step through the upper canopy. The highlight is the 42-meter-high observation tower. From the top, the view opens up far across the Steigerwald landscape. Along the way, you'll learn fascinating facts about the forest ecosystem. In the wildlife enclosures and at the large bird feeder, you can catch a glimpse of the local wildlife.
Play stations along the path, the large forest playground, and the marble run provide additional variety. Picnic areas, hammocks, and a restaurant invite you to take a break and enjoy the tranquility of the forest.
Themed tours, sunset yoga, birds of prey demonstrations, and atmospheric stargazing walks offer countless reasons to visit the Steigerwald forest.
