Birgit Bromme Ceramics Studio

Evocative, flowing sensuality

Curvaceous sensuality that touches the soul: upon entering Birgit Bromme’s ceramic studio at Altenburger Straße 49, you are immediately struck by the array of delicate bowl shapes and dynamic vases—immersing yourself in a sea of color and form. The bowls often feature a refreshing two-tone design; inside, a touch of gold accentuates the center, catching the light during use. These ceramics offer an invitation to take a "mini-vacation from everyday life."

Wall art for a welcoming atmosphere: ceramic "picture bowls"—characterized by warm hues and golden centers—offer an immediate welcome in both workspaces and homes. Serving as adornments for your walls, they create a sense of centeredness and powerfully enliven a room, striking a balance between understated elegance and a commanding presence. Light installations, photographic works, and photo collages can be individually tailored to specific spaces and personal preferences—a process the artist is happy to advise on.

Birgit Bromme draws inspiration from sources including a study residency in Japan and the lush flora of Thailand. She studied Fine Art and Ceramics at the University of Kassel (GHK) and is a member of the BBK (Professional Association of Visual Artists).
"I’m always happy when people drop by—whether in the evening or on the weekend—whatever works best for you!"
