What does certification mean?
The BAMBERG Tourismus Service awards a certificate to those who successfully complete its guide training programme. The course comprises around 100 teaching units and is delivered by subject specialists.
The training covers:

Methodological and teaching skills for planning and delivering guided tours
Confidence when speaking to and engaging groups
The foundations for handling different situations during a guided tour professionally
The programme concludes with two assessments: a written knowledge test and a practical assessment in the form of a trial tour. The certificate is awarded only to those who pass both parts successfully.
