David Saam (Boxgalopp and Kellerkommando) and Tom Stapelfeld (Charlotte and Brunzhummlblöda Blunzn Boys) have devised a wonderfully wacky and highly entertaining concept that combines the enjoyment of a concert with the fun of a game:
From a list of 32 mostly very well-known songs from the rock, pop, and other genres, each audience member can choose 16 and write them down on a 4x4 grid on a piece of paper.
Now the fun and excitement begin: David and Tom present the audience with their own selection of 16 of the 32 songs, accompanied by accordion and drums – sometimes as surprising one-of-a-kind arrangements the world has never heard before: The metal anthem becomes a tango, the ballad a punk, the indie hit a waltz. Anything is possible!
If someone in the audience correctly identifies four songs in a row on their list, they can rejoice: "Hallelujah!"—there's a prize to be won!
"Intensive serotonin therapy, gold standard, with the Franconian entertainment gods" (E-Werk Erlangen)
"4 Songs for a Hallelujah" - four times a year at the nana theater Bamberg and occasionally elsewhere
