With the help of the Gaustadt Citizens’ Association (Bürgerverein Gaustadt e. V.), the fountain by the bridge leading to ERBA Island, situated right next to the striking brick building, has been converted into a drinking water fountain. Located directly on the cycle path, it offers a convenient place to top up your fluids whilst cycling from Bamberg towards Bischberg, Viereth and Trunstadt.
