... the Historical Museum in the Old Court shows the valuable collections of the world heritage city. Art-historically significant paintings invite you to the section “100 Masterpieces │ From Lucas Cranach to Pieter Breughel to Otto Modersohn”. The exhibition “Jewish in Bamberg” brings an important facet of our culture into focus. “Time and Space” presents astonishingly precise Observation and measurement instruments, models of the prevailing world views as well as sundials and mechanical clocks from the period from the 16th to the 18th century.

From October 2024, in the anniversary year of Emperor Henry II, the exhibition “1000 Years Ago | Life at the Court of Kunigunde and Henry II.” will be on display.
