The association of the Musica Cantery has dedicated ist work to the cultivation of the old music of the Renaissance and Baroque period, played on original instruments. Thanks to a series of concerts staged throughout the year, the association fosters the awareness for the music of the age of Bamberg’s prince bishops. A highlight in Bamberg’s musical calendar are the biannual “Days of Old Music”, staged every even year (2014, 2016, 2018 etc.).
