Directly below the plateau lies the six-tiered Baroque terrace garden. Curved stairways lead past old fruit trees, cornelian cherry hedges, the Dolphin Fountain and three historic pavilions. On clear days, the historic lime tree promenade offers views as far as Staffelberg hill.
Above the Ostplateau lies the former abbey garden. Once restoration works are completed, it is planned to become accessible as part of guided tours. The spacious Baroque orangery above the vineyard is also set to be brought back into use, further enhancing the Michaelsberg ensemble.
