St. Getreu

The church was built in 1652 after the plans of Justus Heinrich Dientzenhofer and ranks among the most significant baroque sacred buildings in Bavaria.
The church is also the final station of the historic Way of the Cross from 1503, Germany’s oldest fully intact medieval Way of the Ccross. St. Getreu shows the crucified Christ and the burial of Christ.

Please note, that the church cannot be visited inside at the moment, as comprehensive restoration work due to static problems is necessary.
