Town hall Viereth-Trunstadt municipality

Viereth-Trunstadt presents itself with an extensive history in the heart of Franconia with the community parts of Viereth and Trunstadt, both of which belong to the oldest villages in Bamberg County, and Weiher and Stückbrunn.

The municipal area is made up of a very green and parklike community providing great recreational possibilities for its citizens. Every winter the village nativity scene beautifies the square in front of the war memorial at the historic town hall in Viereth. In Trunstadt the castle ensemble with the area around the church and the village square offer an amiable ambience.

Worth mentioning is also the federal waterway (River Main) with the existing lock with the power station in Viereth, which was put into operation in 1925, and the so-called water level station in Trunstadt.
