Friesener Warte is an exposed hilltop offering a wonderful view of the Regnitz valley and the Steigerwald nature park at a height of 562 metres. Early settlements were found here. There is an airfield and glider pilots rise into the air whenever the weather conditions are good. A good network of hiking paths crosses the plateau.
