Historical Round Tour of Oberleiterbach’s History
Tradition goes hand in hand with modern times in this small picturesque village with only 279 inhabitants.
Located in the north of Bamberg Region it belongs to the market town of Zapfendorf and is steeped in history, looking back upon 800 years of existence. Half-timber framework houses, statues, wayside crosses, and many stories from times long past are part of the walking tour, that takes visitors round the village via 28 plaques.
