The community of Altendorf, with its district of Seußling, is picturesquely nestled in the Regnitz Valley and can look back on a 1000-year history. Highlight and visitor magnet of the pumpkin village is every year the pumpkin festival, which always takes place on the first Sunday in October.
Here the pumpkin is cult; pumpkins in all sizes, shapes and colors, pumpkin dishes, handicrafts and a colorful supporting program with a procession.
