Since 2010, members of the association *Bamberger Festivals e.V.* have been volunteering to support the music and concert scene in Bamberg. In 2014, these dedicated individuals jointly founded the current non-profit association *Bamberger Festivals e.V.* to provide targeted support to musicians. Their activities include organizing their own events, arranging performance opportunities, renting out rehearsal spaces, offering workshops and consulting services, networking, and advocating for the interests of the regional music scene. The association is active in networks across Bavaria and Germany, working to improve conditions for musicians. Numerous cultural projects and events are realized in collaboration with members and volunteers. Additionally, there is an active youth group within the association that organizes its own initiatives and youth-oriented cultural events.
Other (recurring) events alongside the *Wild Tunes Festival* include:
- *Güßbach Rockt* at the Breitengüßbach municipal sports hall, featuring 5–6 regional rock/punk bands
- *Revolution Fest*, a punk festival at the *Live-Club* featuring headliners from outside the region supported by regional bands
- *Fête de la Musique*, in cooperation with the *IG Interessand* and local restaurateurs
- Bus trips to partner festivals such as *Die Festung Rockt* in Kronach
- Hosting the regional preliminary round (Bamberg/Forchheim) of the Upper Franconian band competition "Rock in Oberfranken," organized by the Upper Franconia district administration
- Smaller concerts at venues such as *IMMERHIN* in Bamberg, the *Altes Kino/Sängerheim* in Gaustadt, and locations in Nuremberg
In addition, excursions, team activities, and cabin weekends are regularly organized for members and volunteers.
