Hotel & Brauereigasthof Drei Kronen is located in Memmelsdorf, on the outskirts of Bamberg. Now in its fourth generation as a family-run establishment, the property’s roots date back to 1457. It combines an on-site brewery, a traditional tavern, and a hotel featuring 36 rooms with a total of 70 beds. The kitchen offers a modern take on Franconian cuisine, blending regional classics with contemporary culinary ideas—all perfectly complemented by the establishment’s own house-brewed beers. In good weather, the beer garden invites guests to enjoy their meal or drinks al fresco. There are 60 parking spaces available directly on the premises. A local bus connects Memmelsdorf to Bamberg in approximately 25 minutes, making it an excellent base for excursions into the World Heritage city and the surrounding Franconian region. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is from 3:00 PM; check-out is by 11:00 AM. The reception desk is staffed daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (until 7:30 PM on Mondays). A check-in kiosk is available 24/7. Directions & Parking: The hotel is located in the town center at Hauptstraße 19 and is easily accessible via the A70 and A73 motorways. By public transport, take city bus line 907 to the "Memmelsdorf Markt" stop. There are 60 complimentary parking spaces and four 22 kW EV charging stations on-site. Parking for buses is available in the immediate vicinity. Cancellation: Free of charge up to 3 days before arrival. Separate terms and conditions apply to group bookings. Dining: Rates are available with or without breakfast; half-board options can also be booked. The breakfast buffet is served Monday–Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and on weekends and public holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The on-site restaurant serves modern Franconian cuisine; please note it is closed on Mondays.
