The Farmers' Museum of Frensdorf is a popular excursion to the south of the world heritage city of Bamberg. You can see the living quarters, a stable, a barn and a baking oven all arranged around the central inner court. You will learn a lot about farmers’ life around 1920 due to the original furniture and equipment. The Fischerhof was founded in the middle ages and was once one of the richest farms in Frensdorf. Todays appearance goes back to the late 19th, early 20th century, the oldest part is from 1810. Different thematic exhibitions show further aspects of rural and farming life of former times.
