It's always the same with this band: people dancing, singing at the top of their lungs, laughing happily in front of the stage. Everyone seems to be having an extraordinary time. What's going on?!
The group, led by Antistadl Festival founder David Saam, features illustrious musicians from bands like Kellerkommando, Boxgalopp, and Kapelle Rohrfrei. Like little green men, they board their bastard folk music rocket (fueled by Franconian beer!) and ignite a dazzlingly colorful and wonderfully wild musical firework display: familiar melodies and lyrics from centuries of pop and folk music history are shredded and then painstakingly reassembled. The result is gloriously crazy, feel-good sing-along music that you simply have to love. Highly addictive and fun to guess along the way!
