Conzert: Konstantin Krimmel, baritone | Ammiel Bushakevitz, piano – 6th concert, Musikverein Bamberg

“His voice is as pure as a mountain spring. It is strong, expressive, robust, and powerful—in both opera and the art song repertoire […].” (Opernwelt)

The internationally acclaimed baritone Konstantin Krimmel captivates audiences with an extraordinary blend of vocal elegance, narrative intensity, and a refined musical sensibility.
Even during his vocal studies with Professor Teru Yoshihara at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK)—which he completed with distinction in 2020—he developed a profound affinity for the concert and art song repertoire. In 2023, he was named “Best Newcomer” at the Oper! Awards and “Best Young Singer” by the magazine *Opernwelt*. In 2024, he received an OPUS KLASSIK award in the category “Singer of the Year.”
Since the 2021/22 season, he has been a member of the ensemble at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where he performs key roles within his vocal range. His 2023 recording of Schubert’s song cycle *Die schöne Müllerin*, featuring pianist Daniel Heide, was honored with the German Record Critics’ Award (Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik).
