The concert hall next to the River Regnitz is primarily used as home for the Bamberg Symphony - Bavarian State Philharmonic Orchestra. With more than 50 concerts a year, this internationally well-known orchestra caters for a high-quality cultural offering. As a location for congresses and conferences as well as exhibition hall, the concert hall is a popular ensemble with many opportunities. In addition, it is used as an excellent location in the middle of the old town for many events of the entertainment industry, from cabaret to pop concerts to musicals and dance shows.
